Gilbreth was a one-man track team during his junior and senior years, scoring 127 and 137 points in SCIAC meets, as well as placing in six events in the SCIAC Championships in 1993. He was the consummate dual and SCIAC Championships meet performer, always up for our major competitors during that period. His goals always included team placings as well as his own points and place. Individual accolades: three-time NCAA All-America, decathlon (7^th - 1991; 3^rd -1992; 4^th - 1993), SCIAC Champion (110HH - 1993), school-record 6,686 points stood until 2004, Team MVP (1990, 1992, 1993). He lettered in track & field all four years.
