A member of the men's basketball team for three seasons from 1961-64, Colin played for Ted Ducey. Individual awards: NAIA third-team All-American (1964), first-team All-SCIAC (1964), second-team All-SCIAC (1962, 1963), Team MVP (1962, 1963, 1964), Team Captain (1964). SCIAC records set: most free throws made (1963-64). CMS records set: first CMS basketball All-America, first player to reach 1,000 career points, most free throws made in a season, No. 2 in rebounds in a career.
