IWLCA Selects Athenas To Academic Squad
August 22, 2013
For the 2013 season, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s lacrosse team earned a selection to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Squad the IWLCA announced on August 19. All told 173 schools were selected across the NCAA’s three divisions, with 86 selections coming from Division III.
Four Athenas Selected To IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Four Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s lacrosse players have been selected to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NCAA Division III Academic Honor Roll for the 2013 season. Attacker Rachel Darby, midfielder Leslie Sachs, attacker Anthea Weixel and midfielder Kyra Ray were all selected.

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s lacrosse team went 2-1 at the Spring Fling Tournament in West Palm Beach Florida over Spring Break from March 18-21. The Athenas, now 5-6 overall, registered wins over Washington & Jefferson and Birmingham Southern, but closed out the trip with an 11-6 loss to Clarkson.
