Shove Named All-Region

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced their All-Region teams Tuesday and Madi Shove was named First Team All-West Region.  This is the third straight All-Region honor for Shove.  She was First Team All-Region in 2011 and Second Team All-Region in 2012.  As a member of the First Team, Shove is now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on May 9.

Shove led the Athenas in points (79), goals (67), assists (12), ground balls (41), draw controls (72) and caused turnovers (31).  She is the CMS career leader in goals (251) and is second all-time in points (289) and tied for eighth in career assists (38).
