(Watch Madi Shove's Interview about her D-III experience)

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Dual-sport senior student-athlete Madi Shove (Scripps) is the first of three Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletes to be profiled in celebration of the second annual NCAA Division III Week. The week of April 8-14 has been designated Division III week and is aimed at celebrating what Division III athletic programs such as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps have to offer student-athletes in the classroom, in the field of play and in the community and what each school’s student-athletes have accomplished in those disciplines.

Shove is a three-time All-SCIAC women’s lacrosse player and has also been selected All-West Region and as an All-American. On the soccer field she has twice been selected to the All-SCIAC team and as a senior, was also named All-West Region and to the Scholar All-West Region team.

Away from the lacrosse and soccer fields, Shove is a media studies major and plans to pursue a career in social media and digital media upon graduation. For more information on Shove’s experience as a D-III student-athlete and why she chose CMS, take a look at her video interview.
