Bio

Bryn McKillop is a sophomore at Scripps College dual majoring in American Studies and English or Environmental Analysis or something else. This summer she spent her time perfecting piles of jeans at Nordstrom and getting lost running the trails of Forest Park in Portland with Carmen. Although she enjoys the greenery of the PNW, she is eager to return to those gorgeous rugged San Gabriels. You can catch her this upcoming season glued to an armchair at the Motley or picking up packages for Ashley from the mailroom. As for running, she hopes to return to nationals to place in the top 50 in addition to helping the Athenas as a team place in the top 10. She thinks her love of cross country might actually surpass her love of track this fall, despite being delighted with setting personal records of 4:35 in the 1500 and 2:16 in the 800 last spring. Her life mantra is “Breathe deep and dive” even though she claims she is just one of those people who sink more easily than others.

Bryn went to Cleveland High School in Portland, Oregon where she played soccer, ran track and cross-country, and played on the freshmen basketball team. Her parents Tom and Dana reside in Oregon with a few cats and a Cairn named Archie.
