Butts SCIAC Athlete of the Year; six Stags All-Conference

PASADENA, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) released its All-Conference teams and the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's tennis team has six representatives including Athlete of the Year, senior captain Skyler Butts (Santa Ana, CA). It is the third year in a row that the Stags have had the conference's top award winner as Warren Wood took home the hardware the last two seasons.

Joining Butts in earning conference accolades are junior Glenn Hull (Brookings, OR) and junior Daniel Morkovine (San Carlos, CA) on the first team along with junior Max Macey (Wilton, CT), senior Lestter Yeh (Arcadia, CA) and sophomore Patrick Wildman (Cincinnati, OH) on the second team. Hull and Morkovine are making their first appearance on the first team All-SCIAC list.

Butts is 32-6 in singles and 32-9 in doubles this season, in the top spot in the lineup. Hull is 23-9 in singles and 23-12 in doubles. Morkovine is 19-6 in singles and 28-7 in doubles. Macey is 16-7 in singles and 13-11 in doubles. Yeh is 24-5 in singles and 19-13 in doubles. Wildman is 13-3 in singles and 2-3 in doubles.

The Stags have won the conference championship 11 seasons in a row.
