Bio

Jackman Lee Wilson Jr. ate four hundred bagels in 365 days. “That was back in 2009,” he shares. On New Year’s Eve, he realized he need only consume six or so more bagels to hit the 400 mark. He made a special grocery trip and finished them that night. Jackman then proceeded to write his personal statement about the experience. But eating ridiculous amounts of bagels is something of the past. Jackman’s goals are maturing now that he’s in college. “My main goal in life is to be warm,” he confides. “Which is why I came to CMC. It's also why I like cats. Because, you see, we share the same goal.”

Last cross-country season, Jackman placed 11th at both the SCIAC and regional meets. He then went on to place 81st at the NCAA championships while setting a PR of 25:11. Unfortunately he had to miss track season because he spent the spring semester interning in Washington, DC. After spending over six months in our nation's capital, Jackman is looking forward to being reunited with the team and hopes to improve upon last season's times.
