Bio

My name is Matilda Msall and I am a freshman at Scripps! I am very excited to run cross country and track for CMS. My goals for cross country this year are to stay healthy and improve my times as well as make lifetime friends. My PR's from high school are 2:31 for the 800m, 5:54 for the 1600m, 1:03 for the 400m and 20:16 for 3 miles. I love working with kids and this past summer I worked at a local camp for children with disabilities. In addition to that, I also worked at my high school's cross country camp, tutored and umpired little league baseball. I also enjoy biking, rollerblading and doing crafts. My favorite book is Wild by Cheryl Strayed. I chose Scripps College because I love the idea of a small, tight-knit woman's community with access to the resources of a bigger coeducational institute.
