Bio

Evan Molineux is going to be a senior on this year's cross country team. Currently studying Literature and Film, he is an avid follower of women's tennis and a jazz enthusiast. His favorite movie is the 1994 classic documentary 'Hoop Dreams'. It is a film he identifies with considering his goal after graduating is to play in the NBA. If for some reason that doesn't work out, fingers are crossed that his band makes it big. In high school, Evan played guitar in a Kings of Leon cover band called Queens of Leon. He is currently the bass player of Claremont McKenna's hottest band The Guantanamo Babes. His athletic inspirations are Air Bud, Michelle Jenneke, and grandpa Don Musick. Last season Evan was abroad in Australia, but he is back and looking to have a solid cross country season. He was honoured to be voted by his teammates as team captain for last track season. Evan likes to run because of how skinny he gets during the season, girls love skinny guys. His favorite moment in a CMS jersey was turning around after winning the SCIAC steeple chase and seeing teammates Bob and Alex coming in behind him to complete the 1,2,3 sweep over the conference.

Evan played soccer and ran cross country/track for De La Salle High School in Concord, CA. He is son to father Karl and mothers Renee and Trisha. His sister, Olivia just moved out of the house, the family is very proud of her.
