Bio

Ryan is a Senior at Harvey Mudd College majoring in Applied Dynamical Systems. His academic goals after Mudd are to earn a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, reading adventure novels, or listening to new music. Besides running, his other sports interests include basketball, soccer, beach volleyball, and snowboarding.

Ryan graduated from Rocklin High School in 2012 as a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame and school record holder in the 4x400m. He was coached by Dan Pereira and Sam Yohannes all four years. His parents, Lloyd and Julie Jones, never missed a meet or a game.

Ryan received All-Conference Honors in the 800m in Track last year, placing 3rd behind his teammates Evan Molineux and Justin Jones. His most memorable moment in college was the shock he felt crossing the finish line with his teammates.
