Bio

Mairead Brownell is the daughter of Pete Brownell and Helen Redmond and the sister to Aidan and Ruari. Her PR is a 20:47 and she previously ran at Grinnell High School where she loved spending time with her teammates, especially while hosting a team sleepover and tie-dying their unicorn t-shirts. Mairead also loves to run with her dog, Ava, even though Ava doesn’t always love to run with her. She decided to attend Scripps because she loved the campus atmosphere. Additionally, Mairead hopes to work in an oceanography related field in the future.
