Back in high school, Roselyn Cantu found her passion for running in the spring of her freshman year. But it took her several tries to find her "niche." After trying volleyball, basketball, tennis, and track sprints, she finally found herself running distance. Cross country is her favorite sport, and her favorite inspirational quote is "When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on" (Franklin D. Roosevelt). This native San Diegan enjoys trips to Coronado Island, where you’ll find her admiring the sunset and eating MooTime’s strawberry ice cream? even though she is semi-lactose intolerant. This CMC junior is bilingual in Chinese and English, and is currently strengthening her Spanish to become trilingual. She's majoring in international relations and studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina this past spring 2016.  No matter where she goes, Roselyn likes to travel great distances by plane or by foot.
