Grace Clark Captures SCIAC Weekly Accolades for CMS Women's Water Polo

CLAREMONT, Calif. - First-year Grace Clark of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's water polo team earned the SCIAC Offensive Player of the Week honor for events through Sunday, March 19, the conference office announced today.

Clark had eight goals on 11 shots as CMS remained undefeated in SCIAC with a pair of home wins. She scored five times on seven shots in a narrow 11-8 win over Cal Lutheran on Wednesday, accounting for almost half of the Athena goals, and then had three goals on four shots as CMS dominated Chapman 19-5 on Saturday.

Clark is the third different player to earn SCIAC honors this season, as Cooper McKenna was also named Offensive Player of the Week on March 6, while Dara Schoolcraft earned Defensive Player of the Week accolades on Feb. 6. 

CMS will be back in action on Wednesday night when it hosts Occidental for a 7 p.m. contest.
