The CMS Athenas closed out the 2007 season with a 3-game victory over conference opponent Caltech. The Athenas were in charge from the opening serve, challenging the Beavers with aggressive defense and consistent offensive play winning 30-16, 30-21, 30-9.

CMS outlasted the Sagenhens from Pomona-Pitzer Friday night in the first battle of the year between the cross-campus rivals. The outcome was certainly not predictable as CMS fell behind 1-8 in game 1 before falling into pace offensively, tying the game at 12 and matching the Hens point for point for the rest of the game
