Divers Perform Well At Bulldog Diving Invite

Lizzy Ginelli was the top SCIAC finisher on the 3-meter springboard at the Bulldog Diving Invite  at the Bulldog Diving Invite at the University of Redlands on November 19.

Three women represented the Athenas at the meet.  Ginelli placed fifth with a score of 147.35 on 3-meter.  In 1-meter diving, Ginelli was ninth (128.65), Lizzy Nesbitt was 13th (100.25) and Jackie Olmos-Silverman finished 16th (88.75).

James Stevick and Drake Escrofani each posted top 3 finishes for the Stags.  In the men's 3-meter competition, Stevick was the highest D-III finisher and second overall with a score of 257.60.  On the 1-meter board, Escrofani finished third, posting a score of 207.15 in the six dive competition.

The CMS swimming and diving teams return to competition after the Thanksgiving Break.  The Stags and Athenas travel to Cal Tech on Friday, December 2 and face Pomona-Pitzer at CMS on Saturday, December 3 in SCIAC dual meet action.
