Athena soccer alums show they still have game at annual alumni event

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Alumnae from the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team returned to campus for the annual Alumni Game on Parents Field on Sunday, Sept 28 after cheering on the Athenas in the Saturday win over Occidental. Alumni dating back to the Class of 2004 participated in the game against the current Athena squad.

Head coach Keri Sanchez thanks all who were involved for another memorable alumni game for the Dream Team whose motto for 2014 was "Still Got Game." The alums proved it with a big win over the current team with a score of 6 or 7 to 1. Thanks to all those that could make it out: class of '04 - April (Wilson) Rudge; class of '05 - Erin McCann; class of '06 - Ina Labermeier; class of '08 - Megan Kum; class of '09 - Hillary (Tribbs) Downs, Rebecca (Pedroza) Tucker, Sarah (Blavet) Frey, Erin Chamberlain; class of '10 - Kelsey Rose, Stefanie Chan, Nicole Sady-Kennedy; class of '11 - Meredith Doyle, Kirsten McAfee, Stefanie Chan; class of '13 - Lauren Phillips, Annie Belanger; class of '14 - Shauny Ullman, Kerry Moller, Lauren Allen, Rosie Jaye.

Following the game, the Athenas joined the Stags and their alumni for a catered lunch and more good times.
