Athenas Win SCIAC 18 #2

CMS won their second straight SCIAC 18 hole tournament on Thursday with a score of 333, four strokes ahead of second place Redlands.  Host school Cal Lutheran finished third at 365, Pomona-Pitzer was fourth at 414 and Occidental did not have enough players to earn a team score.  CMS' Shaina Raskin was the medalist with a score of 78. 

All four scorers for the Athenas finished in the top nine overall including Maya Reddy (81 - 3rd), Lauren Buchanan (83 - t5th), Jackie Ketner (84 - t7th) and Tiffany Su (85 - 9th).

CMS leads the SCIAC standings with 10 points after earning five points for winning this tournament and the first SCIAC 18 on February 10.  The Athenas will play next on March 16-18 at the Collegiate Invitational in Jekyll Island, GA.
