CMS Athenas Golf Ranked Number Four Nationally

The CMS Athenas have been ranked the number four team in Division 3 golf according to Golfstat.com. The team, mostly made up of young golfers (Freshmen, Sophomores) has shown extreme promise and success early in the season, and their hard work has been rewarded with a high national ranking.

The Athenas have posted an Adjusted Scoring Average of 79.66, only 1.49 strokes behind the first ranked Methodist University. Additionally, the Athenas placed first at the CMS Co-Ed Invitational behind the team effort of Jackie Ketner, Marissa Suehiro, Maya Reddy, Tiffany Su, and Lauren Buchanan. Sophomore Elizabeth Diebel, who competed as an individual, also scored an "ace" giving her her first career hole-in-one.
