Scamman earns D3Hoops.com Team of the Week and SCIAC honors

CLAREMONT, Calif. – This past week, senior guard Kimberly Scamman (CMC) had a big week scoring, earning her a spot on D3Hoops.com Team of the Week and the Female Athlete of the Week in SCIAC. Almost exactly a year ago (Jan. 7, 2014) was the most recent time Scamman was the SCIAC Athlete of the Week and this is her first appearance on D3Hoops.com Team of the Week.

The Northridge, Calif. native started her week with a career-high 41 points on Dec. 29 in a 65-61 win over Johns Hopkins. Also during the week, Scamman scored 13 points in a win over Milwaukee School of Engineering and had 17 points and eight rebounds in a win over Redlands. Over the three games, she averaged 23.6 points on 64 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from the three-point line.
