On Court: Played an aggressive baseline gamestyle...helped lead Redwood HS team to 2005 - 2006 NCS titles...had four (4) undefeated seasons playing doubles with brother Eric, including the 2004 NCS Doubles title...2004 NorCal Sectional doubles champion with Eric...ranked in the top 20 in Boys 18s singles in NorCal, and 7th in doubles...as a freshman teamed with brother Eric to reach the QF of the doubles  at the ITA West Regionals before losing to teammates Eric Chow and Ben Hough...went on to go 8-2 in singles, including an undefeated record in dual match play at #2 through #5 positions...also posted an impressive 8-2 record in doubles with brother Eric and Thomas Keiffer...as a sophomore played well at ITA West Regional tournament where he won three of five singles matches...battled injury in the spring and still managed to go undefeated in dual match play, finishing with a 7-2 overall singles record...played three doubles matches, going 1-2 with Keiffer and Crandall...as a junior spent the fall in Budapest, Hungary...returned in the spring season to go 3-1 in singles and 5-0 in doubles with Wiener, Wu, and Wei...as a senior played the ITA Fall Regionals, going 1-2 in singles and 5-1 with brother Eric in the doubles, winning the consolation draw...began the spring with a hip flexor injury that kept him out of action until mid-March...played in two dual matches in singles, winning at #3 against Goucher College and at #4 against Linfield College, both in straight sets...was one of eight Stags entered into the Ojai Valley Tournament in singles, winning his first match against Whittier's #2 Julian Seneviratne before losing to Whitman's #1 Matt Solomon in the Round of 64...played in one doubles dual match with La Cava at #2 against Goucher College, and then reunited with freshman year partner Thomas Keiffer in the Ojai Valley doubles, where the duo reached the quarterfinals...MacColl was the 2010 recipient of the Hank Krieger Trophy for his hard work and self-sacrifice...finished the 2010 season with a 4-3 singles record and 8-2 doubles record...completed his Stags Tennis career with a four-year singles record of 22-8 and a doubles record of 22-6.
