Bio

Stevie Knapp joined the Athenas for the 2017-18 academic school year, coming to CMS from El Dorado High School in Placentia, Calif. where she coached softball for one season. Knapp enters her fourth year with the program in 2021, after helping the Athenas to the NCAA Tournament in each of her first two campaigns, while helping the 2019 squad reach the highest national ranking in program history (No. 5). 

Knapp graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Special Education.  She played four years of softball for the Ducks and was a part of four Pac 12 Championship teams, helping Oregon to two Women's College World Series appearances.  Knapp was also an NFCA Scholar Athlete for the Ducks. A native Southern Californian, she was a three-time all-league selection at Ayala High School in Chino Hills prior to signing with Oregon, and played club softball with SoCal Bombers, OC Batbusters, Amercian Pastime Gold and Strike Force Gold.
