CMS Ranked Seventh In First Regional Ranking
CMS is ranked seventh in the West Region in the first NCAA regional rankings of the year. This is the first time that CMS (18-8) has been ranked. The West Region is the strongest of the eight regions in the country this season. Four of the eight regionally ranked teams are ranked in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 including three teams in the top six. No other region has more than two teams ranked in the top 10 and only two other regions have four ranked teams.
