Oliver Pick Moves Into Top 10 in Program History at UC Riverside Invitational

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Oliver Pick set a PR with a 24:32.3 to move into ninth place in CMS history to highlight the performance of the Stags cross country team at the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday morning.

Pick took 27 seconds off his previous personal best set at the Paul Short Run last year to move up from 23rd to ninth place in program history. His time placed him 43rd at the UC Riverside Invitational, helping CMS to a ninth place finish out of 21 teams, mostly from Division I. 

Southern Utah took first place, followed by Utah Valley and Arizona, with Division II programs Azusa Pacific and Cal Poly Pomona in fourth and fifth. 

Mason Ratkovich also moved into the CMS all-time top 20 with his time of 24:45.7, which places him 19th in program history. Andrew Blelloch finished in 24:51.7 to debut on the CMS all-time list in 22nd place.

Daniel Fajardo had a PR of 25:12.8 to move up to 39th, while Hale Behan was right behind in 25:13.7 to debut on the CMS all-time list in 40th. Agustin Gomez de la Vega also had his first sub-25:30 time to make the Stags historical list in 49th with a 25:29.1. 

CMS will be back in action next weekend when it takes part in The Master's Invitational in Santa Clarita.
