Bio

Charlie comes from the small northern California town of Davis and he plans to spend this year continuing to talk about why his hometown is the bee’s knees, despite the objections of his teammates who hail from lame locations like Ohio, Maryland, and the Pacific Northwest. His 8k cross country PR is 26:59 and on the track he is the team’s resident expert in jumping and falling over 36 inch high metal barriers. This season he is looking forward to running some solid races and helping defend the SCIAC title.

You can catch Charlie cruising around CMC on his Razor A6 adult commuter scooter. As founder of the 5c Scooter League Charlie enjoys spreading the gospel of the scooter to the longboard and skateboard heathens of the Claremont Colleges. It's a commonly known fact that scooters are faster, easier to maneuver, and more stylish than boards of every variety.

In addition to running Charlie is a PPE major and works at the Rose Institute of State and Local Government. His favorite topics of conversation include why lobbyists are a good thing, why defined benefit pensions are a bad thing, and why his jokes are hilarious.
