Bio

Chris begins his eleventh year as Assistant Coach for CMS Stags Tennis, bringing nearly three decades of experience and expertise in coaching elite junior, collegiate, and professional players. The ITA recognized Fabrizio in 2013 and 2017 as the West Region ITA Assistant Coach of the Year. In his ten years with the Stags, Fabrizio has amassed coaching records of 281-49 overall and a perfect 88-0 in conference.

Before coing to CMS, Fabrizio co-founded the Futchko-Fabrizio International Tennis Academy which brought international players to Southern California for academic and high performance tennis training.  He also directed the ToughTennis High-Intensity Tennis Training Camps, combining off-court athletic development and sports nutrition along with on-court technical and competitive training.  He has coached multiple highly ranked juniors, professional tour players and a wide range of collegiate players.

Chris has a Bachelors of Sciences degree in Professional and Occupational Studies from California State University, Long Beach. As a player at Cal Poly Pomona, Fabrizio was a Division II CCAA All-Conference player in Singles and Doubles and an ITA All-American. Chris and his wife Caprice live in Alta Loma, California and have two grown children (Chaselyn and Caden) and one grandchild.
