Men’s Tennis sees six Stags named to ITA Scholar-Athlete list
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's tennis program found just as much success in the classroom as it did on the court as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named the Stags on the All-Academic Team. This honor is awarded to teams that finish the academic year with a team GPA average of 3.20 or higher.
The ITA also named six Stags to the Scholar-Athlete list for finishing the 2016-17 academic year with at least a 3.50 GPA. Daniel Morkovine (CMC '17), Rohan Shankar (HMC '17), Alex Brenner (CMC '17), Julian Gordy (CMC '19), Jake Williams (HMC '20), and Matthew Jacobs (CMC '20) were among those who were honored onto the list.
