On Court: Two-time All-Met player of the year...No. 1 in D.C. in all age groups...did not lose a match since his sophomore year...went 44-3 at Maret, and undefeated at home at the #1 singles position for all four years...led his high school to the Mid-Atlantic Conference co-championship as a sophomore...ranked No. 14 by the USTA Mid-Atlantic 18s...four varsity letters...captain for one year...as a freshman earned starting singles and doubles spots for Vanderbilt University, going 12-18 at the #4 through #6 singles positions, and 15-16 at #2 and #3 doubles with three different partners...clinched Vandy's win over #61 Alabama with his 7-5, 6-4 victory at #6...helped Vanderbilt win their first SEC victory with his defeat of #33 South Carolina's Carl Eguez ... also clinched the match against Brown at #4 singles...finished the fall tournament season with a 6-5 singles record ... beat #106 Patrick Kawka of #49 BYU in the first round of the ITA Kickoff hosted at Pepperdine...made his Stags Tennis debut this season at the USTA / ITA West Regionals, where he reached the singles semifinals and won the doubles title with partner Warren Wood...he and Wood advanced to USTA / ITA Small College Nationals in Mobile, AL where they were 2-1 and finished third...his 4-1 singles mark earned him a West Region Fall ranking of #8, whlie he and Wood were 7-1, earning ITA All-American honors in addition to a #2 doubles ranking in the West and #3 ranking nationally.
