Wang Named SCIAC Athlete Of The Week

Larry Wang (SR, Orange) was selected SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of March 30 - April 5.  He led the #3 Stags to a 9-0 win over #10 Redlands and a 5-4 win over Division I UC Davis. Against Redlands, he teamed with Gui Schils to win at #1 doubles 8-5 and then won at #1 singles 6-3, 6-2. Against Davis, he and Schils narrowly lost at #1 doubles [9-8 (5)]. He was then part of a CMS comeback from down 4-0 winning at #1 singles 7-5, 6-4. Playing one of the most difficult schedules in the country (13 ranked teams + 3 Division I), Wang is 16-7 in singles and 14-11 in doubles this season. CMS is 22-4 overall and 7-0 in SCIAC.
