On Court: Agressive baseliner who arrived at CMS with an impressive junior tennis resume, having reached as high as #22 on the SoCal Boys 18s rankings and #292 nationally...went 48-1 at #1 singles for the Webb School, on a team that reached the quarterfinals twice and semifinals once (2005) in Division 3...as an individual, also reached the quarterfinals at Ojai and the May SoCal National Open, as well as the round of 16 at the CIF Individual tournament...as a freshman...was one of seven Stags to reach the round of 16 of the ITA West Regionals...went 6-1 in singles on the season including an undefeated record in dual matches...was 2-2 in doubles with three different partners...as a sophomore was 6-2 in singles and remained undefeated for his career against Div III opponents in dual matches...posted a 6-1 doubles record primarily with Narasimhan...played ITA summer circuit between sophomore and junior season, winning the singles title at the Riviera Country Club stop on the southern california swing...as a junior reached the round of 16 at the ITA West Regionals in singles and then partnered with Narasimhan to reach the doubles final...came on strong in the spring, playing consistently at the #6, #5, and then #4 singles positions...finished with an 18-8 singles record, going 7-2 in conference and 5-3 in three set matches...had a nearly seven week stretch in February and March where he didn't lose a dual match and dropped only one set...played exclusively with Narasimhan at all three doubles positions, going 6-3 on the season...voted by teammates as Most Improved Player on 2008 Stags Team...as a senior...lost in the second round of the ITA West Regionals in singles and doubles (with Zyskind)...went 6-2 in singles at four different positions, finishing his CMS career with a 36-13 record, good for 7th best in program history...was 3-1 in doubles with Zyskind, finishing 17-7 for his career...ITA Scholar-Athlete at Harvey Mudd as a junior and senior.
