Stevick wins Zone Championships, advances to NCAA Championships

James Stevick won both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions at the Zone 2 Diving Championships in Grinnell, IA on Friday and Saturday.  With the wins, he automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships which will take place March 19-22 in Indianapolis, IN.

Stevick scored 512.80 on 3-meter and 489.50 on 1-meter and won both competitions by over 50 points.  Carli Lessard also competed at the Zone Championships and placed 11th on 1-meter and ninth on 3-meter.

At last year's NCAA Championships, Stevick finished second in the 1-meter competition and 11th in the 3-meter competition.
