CMS to host two “Stag Soccer One-Day Prospect Clinics” this summer

CLAREMONT, Calif., – Head men's soccer coach, Matt Edwards, and the men's soccer team will host two, one-day soccer clinics this summer. The clinic is designed for soccer players whose goal is to compete and succeed – athletically and academically – at the collegiate level.  The clinic will provide a fast-paced preview into the lives of college soccer players both on and off the field.

The clinic will be held on Sunday, June 7th and Sunday, August 9th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Registration will begin at 9.45 a.m. at Pritzlaff Field before the first of two on field training sessions with the CMS Soccer staff. Lunch will be provided along with an admissions seminar, campus tour and a question and answer session with current CMS student athletes.

Participants should make sure that they bring two sets of training clothes, cleats, shin guards, water bottle and sneakers. Participation in the clinic is limited so all players can receive personal attention from the CMS staff, early registration is advised. For more information please contact Matt Edwards by email (matt.edwards@cms.claremont.edu) or phone (909) 942 1547.
