Wrenn and Shaw Tabbed as All-Americans
NORMAN, Okla. - Jonathan Shaw (CMC '18) and Alex Wrenn (CMC '19) of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps have been selected to the 2018 Division III PING All-America Teams as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on June 20. Shaw is a third team All-American while Wrenn garnered honorable mention All-America honors.
The duo helped lead the Stags this year to the program's third-straight SCIAC championship, and a ninth place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships in May. Also this season, both Stag golfers were first team All-SCIAC selections and Scholar All-Americans. Shaw also was All-West Region. Last season, Shaw was an honorable mention All-American, while in 2016, Wrenn was a first team All-American and Shaw was on the third team. As a freshman, Shaw was an honorable mention All-American and made the All-Freshman Team.
