Stags come in at No. 2 in Golfstat rankings
CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's golf team is currently ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division III. The Stags sit behind St. Thomas (Minn.) and just in front of Methodist. This is the highest ranking for CMS this season after being tabbed the No. 3 team in the March 29 poll.
Most recently, CMS tied for third in the West Cup with the low score by Matt Shuman (CMC) at 227 over three rounds. The top four CMS golfers all finished in the top 26 of the 77-athlete event with only five strokes separating the four.
