Stags Finish Third At SCIAC 18 #1

The Stags began conference play with a third place finish at Redlands Country Club.  CMS finished SCIAC #1 with a score of 309 which placed them behind La Verne and Redlands who posted rounds of 293 and 295 respectively. Chapman ended the day in fourth place with a 312 while Cal Lu, Whittier, Pomona-Pitzer, and Occidental rounded out the bottom four spots.

Individually, the Stags were paced by Jordan Stein (FR, Glencoe, IL) who finished in the top five with a 74 (+4). Tain Lee (JR, San Juan Capistrano) and Bou-An Fujieki (FR, Honolulu, HI) finished in the top 15 with scores of 78 (+8).  Michael Liu (JR, Tustin) and Robbie Garcia (FR, Pleasanton) finished tied for 23rd with rounds of 79 (+9). 

The CMS golf team will be back out on the course at SCIAC #2 hosted by Whittier College at  El Prado Golf Course on February 20^th.
