Untimely turnovers lead to loss vs. Johns Hopkins

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's basketball team lost to Johns Hopkins University 67-65 on Friday night in the first day of the David Wells Classic. After leading by six points with almost four minutes remaining the Stags were unable to maintain their lead.

Within those last four minutes Johns Hopkins went on a 13-5 tear to ultimately win by two points.

The Stags shot 46% from the field and were led by Tyler Gaffaney with 22 points on the evening.

CMS will make their debut at home after playing on the road for their first five games.  The Stags will take on UC Santa Cruz on Saturday (11/30) at 7 pm in Ducey Gymnasium.
