Bio

Richard Richardson is entering his third season at CMS as the Running Backs Coach. In 2015, CMS had three RBs lead the team in yards per game, two lead the team in scoring one that earned All-SCIAC recognition.

Prior to CMS, Richardson coached numerous football camps throughout the West Coast during and after his college years where he developed the love for coaching. He also works as an independent personal trainer, specializing in developing athletes. Richardson played defensive back and linebacker at Contra Costa community college and later, Mt. Sac Junior College where he earned Associate degrees in Political Science and Natural Science. Richardson finished his collegiate career at University of La Verne where he earned a B.S. in Movement and Sports Science.

Richardson was born and raised in Vallejo, CA and attended Vallejo HS where he graduated in 2002. He resides in La Verne.
