Bio

Matt Jager is entering his second season as a member of the CMS football coaching staff in 2024, after helping the Stags to an 8-2 record in his first season last fall. 

Jager joined the Stags after previously assisting the department with games management in the spring of 2023. He came to Claremont with over a decade's worth of high school coaching experience, including five years at Rialto High School (2011-15) and six years (2016-2021) at Summit High School in Fontana.

While assisting with the local high school football programs, Jager also served a special education aid at Summit High School, and as a special education teacher at Alder Middle School in Fontana. 

Jager holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from California Baptist University and a master's in education from the University of Redlands.
