Margaux Arntson - Volleyball
CLAREMONT, Calif. – Junior Margaux Arntson (CMC) is named Athlete of the Week (Oct. 17) in honor of her spectacular performance this past week. The opposite hitter has played a major role in keeping the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball team undefeated this season and go on a three-game shutout streak.
On October 11th, Arntson had an incredibly efficient game against Chapman, completing 15 out of 19 kill attempts for an outstanding .789 hitting percentage. She was perfect at the net, not committing a single error, and managed to tally a block assist. In her October 15th game against Occidental, Arntson had eight kills and two block assists.
Margaux Arntson has 144 kills and 27 total blocks in 17 games this season and was named 2nd Team All-SCIAC last season.
