Corie Hack – Women’s Lacrosse

(4/11 – 4/17) – Freshman midfielder Corie Hack (CMC) leads the Athenas in goals (31) this season and she continued her stellar play during the week of April 11 as she helped the team go 2-0 with wins against conference opponents Chapman (11-6) and at Whittier (21-9). In the team’s 11-6 win over Chapman on April 13, Hack scored two goals and her first goal gave CMS a 2-1 lead in the first half, a lead they would not relinquish. Then on April 16, CMS went on the road and defeated Whittier 21-9 on April 16 behind a team-high four goals from Hack. With two matches remaining before the SCIAC Championships, CMS is in third place with a 6-2 SCIAC record. Hack also recovered eight ground balls during the two matches (four in each game).
