Bio

Not only a top cross country and track athlete, but also a superb engineering student at Harvey Mudd College. Aagaard was CMS' top cross country runner all three years, as well as an outstanding middle-distance runner in track. He ran 1:51.06 in the 800 meters, 3:51.93 in the 1,500 meters, and legs on school record-setting 4x1,600 and distance-medley relays. Cross country achievements: National Qualifier (1992, 1993), first-team All-West Region (1993), second-team All-West Region (1991, 1992), SCIAC Athlete of the Year (1993), first-team All-SCIAC (1993), and second-team All-SCIAC (1991, 1992). Track achievements: NCAA All-America, 1,500m (1993 [4^th]; 1994 [3^rd]), National Qualifier, 800m (1993, 1994), SCIAC Champion, 1,500m (1992, 1994), SCIAC Champion, 4x400m relay (1994). He lettered in cross country for three years and in track & field for four years.
