Bio

Davis had a tremendous impact on the program during his two seasons. The Stags had only one winning season in the 11 seasons before his arrival. He was a big reason for the conference championship team in 1983-84 that went undefeated in league play. At the time, the 1983-84 Stag team was the only Stag team in program history to go undefeated during league (12-0). Upon his graduation, Davis was known as the most dominant defensive player to ever play for the Stags. Individual awards: second-team All-SCIAC (1983), second-team All-District (1983), first-team All-SCIAC (1984), first-team All-District (1984), SCIAC Player of the Year (1984). Career statistics: 13 points per game, 54.9 field goal percentage, 8.6 rebounds per game. Records set during career: eighth in single-season field goal percentage, fourth in career field goal percentage and top-15 in rebounds per game.
