CLAREMONT, Calif. - Claremont McKenna College announced its detailed plan this afternoon for the return of students for the fall semester, and has established new guidelines regarding participation in athletics and recreation activities.

John Goldhammer Announces Retirement after 36 Years with CMS

CLAREMONT, Calif. - After 36 seasons as the head coach of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps cross country programs, as well as 26 years as the head coach and 10 years as an assistant coach of the CMS track and field programs, John Goldhammer has announced his retirement, effective at the end of the academic year.

ATLANTA, Ga. - Former Claremont-Mudd-Scripps distance runner Sara Mostatabi earned her way into the U.S. Olympic Marathon Team Trials with a qualifying run last year, and gave an impressive showing this weekend, finishing in the top 100 (91st) out of 390 of the top Marathon runners in the country.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sophomore Riley Harmon earned All-America honors with a 36th place finish as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's cross country team ended in 20th place at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at Tom Sawyer State Park.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior Georgia Scherer of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's cross country team made two trips down south to San Diego in the span of two months, one to compete for the Athenas in the UCSD Triton Invitational in October, and the other to present her research at the American Chemical Society national convention in August.
