Bio

Hank Krieger's name is synonymous with CMS Tennis. Coach Krieger was inducted into the CMS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004, recognizing a twenty-two season coaching tenure as Head Coach of the Stags. During that time his overall winning percentage was .647 and his SCIAC winning percentage was .865. Twice named the NCAA Division III Coach of the Year (in 1985 and 1993), Krieger was at the helm for the Stags’ first national championship (in 1981) and coached 24 All-Americans.

After retiring from teaching mathematics at Harvey Mudd College in May, 2005, Krieger is still actively working on several academic projects, as well as serving on a handful of community based committees and boards. His contributions as team consultant, historian, and volunteer asistant coach continues to be invaluable.

Hank and his wife Rita live in Claremont. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
