Bio

Natalie Turner-Wyatt enters her fsecond season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer program, following the completion of a standout career at Williams. In her first season as an assistant in 2019, she helped guide the Athenas to an appearance in the NCAA Round of 16, matching the top NCAA performance in program history.

Turner-Wyatt was a part of a Williams program that captured three NCAA Division III national championships over her four years, concluding with back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. She and her class compiled an overall record of 80-4-9 over four seasons, never losing more than one game in any of their four campaigns.

As a junior, Turner-Wyatt had a goal and two assists to lead Williams to a 3-0 win over Johns Hopkins in the NCAA quarterfinals. She then assisted on the championship-winning goal in the finals to help the Ephs capture their second national title in three years, finishing the year with seven goals and nine assists. A midseason injury kept her out of the lineup in the NCAA Tournament as a senior, but Williams was able to repeat as national champions and earn Turner-Wyatt her third ring.

The injury helped shape Turner-Wyatt's desire to get into coaching after her graduation from Williams. "My role on the team became about how to lead the program to another national championship from the sidelines," she said. "I gained a new, empowering perspective on how leadership, collaboration, team chemistry as well as tactical analysis contributes to the success of a team."

Turner-Wyatt's interest in collegiate sports also extends beyond coaching. "I’m passionate about making sure athletic programs and departments are equitable spaces in terms of gender, class, race, and sexuality," she said. "I’m excited to continue that project with CMS."

Turner-Wyatt earned her bachelor's degree in history from Williams. She also studies classical music and enjoys singing.
