Video Feature: The CMS-ence of Sydney Talmi

CLAREMONT, Calif. - As the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team prepares to celebrate its Senior Day tomorrow against Whittier (7 p.m., Pritzlaff Field), we took a closer look at one of the six members of the Class of 2019, Sydney Talmi, in a Q&A style video feature.

In this new feature, we will periodically sit down with our senior student-athletes for short question and answer sessions, as we learn a little bit about them on and off the field. CMS athletics has a longstanding tradition of high achievement on both sides of the student-athlete hyphen, and we'll use this as an opportunity to get them to describe in their own words what they are doing to carry on that tradition. Their CMS-ence, if you will.

Talmi is a starting center back and a neuroscience major at Claremont McKenna, who, when not playing soccer, is hard at work on her senior thesis quantifying axon termination in relevant areas of the rhesus monkey brain.
