Craig Van Degrift

Craig Van Degrift was a three-year letter winner in track & field and was the first Harvey Mudd athlete to hold a school record in a field event.  Upon graduation he held the school record in both the shot put (53-3) and discus throw (160-11) and both records lasted for 29 years.  He was the team's high point scorer as both a junior and senior.  He qualified for the NAIA National Championships in 1965.
