Jason Rhodes is a truly special part of CMS Track and Cross Country both as an athlete and a leader.  He lettered in both sports all four years at Harvey Mudd.  As a track athlete, he was a three-time All-American in the 800 meters including National Champion as a senior.  He was voted SCIAC Athlete of the Year in 1992 and won seven SCIAC titles including four straight in the 800.  He is one of only eight males to win a track event four times in the history of the SCIAC.  He served as track team captain in both 1993 and 1994.  Rhodes graduated with the CMS record in the 800 (1:49.69) and was ranked ninth in Division III history at the time.

In cross country, he was a two-year team captain.  He earned First Team All-SCIAC honors in 1993 and Second Team All-SCIAC honors in 1990 and 1992.  He was a member of the SCIAC Championship team in 1993 which qualified for the NCAA Championships finishing 17th.
