Dolores Odogwu

A multi-talented sprinter-jumper, Dolores Odogwu was a 25-time All-SCIAC athlete in track and field and scored 105.5 points at the SCIAC Championships during her Athena career.  She placed four years in the 100 meters, 4 x 100, 4 x 400 and high jump.  She placed three years in the 200 meters, long jump and triple jump.  In an extremely competitive conference, she won two individual SCIAC titles in 1989.  She set a CMS record (38-3.5) winning the triple jump and a personal best (12.58) winning the 100.  At the NCAA Championships, Odogwu earned All-American honors in the triple jump three straight years.  She placed fifth in 1988 and fourth in both 1989 and 1990.  She was track team captain in 1989.  Upon graduation, she held school records in the triple jump (38-3.5) and the 4 x 100 (50.4) and 4 x 400 (4:03.74).
