Pat Conroy

In the days of 100+ miles of training per week, Pat Conroy ran all the track events from the mile to the marathon.  Upon graduation, he held school records in the 5000 (14:56.8), 10,000 (30:59.4) and marathon (2:34:20).  In 1971, he served as track team captain, was the SCIAC 3 Mile Champion and qualified for the NAIA Championships in the 10,000.  He also qualified in 1972.  In cross country, Conroy earned First Team All-SCIAC honors twice.  He was cross country team captain in 1970 and as a senior was on the first CMS cross country team to qualify for the national championship meet.
